About Broken Bones 5:
Single player pirate games are quite the rare commodity these days, and this one definitely has promise. Sailing around looking for trouble brought back memories of playing Black Flag, and few games have managed to evoke that in a long time, and none that weren’t obligate multiplayer. Add in some supernatural elements and you almost feel like a character pulled from Pirates of the Caribbean. Obviously early access being what it is there are wrinkles to iron out and more content to add, but I’ll be watching this one closely because I think it’s on the right track so far. The game is still in a Really Early stage of development (feels like pre-early access), there are still some stuff needed in the game especially with the combat system it feels very bland. Quest Markers have this bug that sometimes they mark where you need to go but sometimes they don’t? It’s like when you only angle to the right direction only then you will see the quest marker. Getting on your boat and opening your inventory feels really slow, I have pushed the correct buttons so many times, but, it still takes like 2 to 3 taps of the key-bind before the bind action happens. But, I do love Pirate games especially when they are open world. I guess in time if the Developer really does care about this game it’ll be a great game along with other great pirate games out there.
